Conservatory

LittleGarden.org.uk

During the 1980's a lean-to conservatory was added to the south wall of the house, unfortunately it was cold, hot, damp and ant ridden. The conservatory was replaced with a modern double-glazed system - complete with frost protective heating. In the conservatory we grow geranium, cacti and an orange tree. One of the most tolerant plants is a Plumbago that seems to take any amount of heat and does not bother about a bit of cold in the winter. The geraniums and cacti are good too. One day when we have retired we'll make better use of the conservatory! Robert likes to look at the stars through the glass roof.
